Do U Still Attend a Party to Ur Friend's Xmas Party

I got offended of our friend's who got drunk last year on their house party. It took months before i feel good on them. Now they want invite us this xmas, so do we need to go there again ? Or just make an alibi to avoided get offended for the second time when they got drunk lol. Got confuse.

Yes, but may be we will attend only few minutes and if they are start drinking we better go home early lol
