Who is Alder Vineyard?

Born from a challenge to redefine how our family used our slice of Devon, we wanted to grow something unusual that we could all be proud of. With a love of wine and the land, we jumped feet first into the world of English wine. Who knew the edge of Dartmoor could be the perfect home for our 5,000 vines! From the muddy boots of winter pruning to the glimmering sunshine across our Devon vineyard at harvest, our love of wine has grown far beyond the bottle. What happens on a vineyard tour at Alder Vineyard?

Every tour is unique and lasts around 90 minutes, depending on the weather and how many questions you bring (we love questions!). Learn how we create our wines and enjoy a fun and informal tasting of our latest vintages in our winery, where we will share the basic techniques of tasting and put your taste buds to the test.
