It’s that time of the year again! That time when you can leave the brolly at home – but you MUST take your sunnies with you!
Looking for a pair of eco-friendly shades? Try SOLO Eyewear!
They create environmentally responsible sunglasses that restore vision for people in need. These are eco-friendly sunglasses made with repurposed bamboo and recycled plastic.
The concept for SOLO Eyewear was developed as a class project at San Diego State University. While completing an International Entrepreneurship course, Jenny Amaraneni read Paul Polak’s Out of Poverty where she discovered the great need for eye care around the world. She decided to research the issue further.
Jenny, who has poor vision herself, encountered two startling statistics: approximately 1 billion people do not have access to eye care and nearly 80% of the world’s blindness is preventable, according to the World Health Organization.
Shocked by this info, she decided to do something about it. With every purchase of SOLO glasses, the company is dedicated to restoring the vision of a person in need
This is a truly sustainable, kind-hearted company, and we would like for you to get to know them for yourself!
We’ve partnered with SOLO Eyewear to give one lucky winner the chance to win a pair of sunnies for themselves. You choose the style, and they’ll send you your shades!
