Nestled within the wilds of the Cairngorms National Park with views of the Cairngorm mountain range and right on the edge of the ancient Abernethy Forest, The Dell, which is one hour from Inverness airport and twenty minutes from Aviemore train station, is a haven for wildlife and perfectly placed to experience the unique habitat of the area year-round.

The Dell itself is set in four acres of gardens and pine forests dotted with organic vegetable gardens and six self-catering cottages. The lucky winners will stay in Dell Cottage, a beautiful, spacious hideaway for two, nestled on the eastern wing of the Dell boasting a stunning sun filled living space packed with vintage furniture, an open fire and a huge walk-in shower. They'll also receive a tasty homemade meal and a bottle of wine from the on site ‘Dell Grocer’ stocked with fresh vegetables, chilled wine, hot coffee and sourdough for the morning. Come night time guests can cosy up by the fire pit with warm blankets and sheepskins to toast marshmallows.

During the stay, The Dell can organise a range of activities, from bike rentals and guided wildlife walking tours to soundscape walking meditation, private yoga, massage and Craniosacral therapy. Escape to one of the hammocks with a good book or try your hand at axe throwing and wood carving. For a real Scottish adventure, The Dell has recently teamed up with WildTrax, who rent out classic 4x4 Land Rovers, offering a brilliant way to explore more of the stunning landscapes and rugged terrain of the Highlands.
