Children Under 11yrs old who have ever helped someone with a little first aid can submit a drawing along with a few words describing the inncident to be in with a chance of winning one of ten Amazon £100 Vouchers!
It’s often cited that children are the future. What isn’t often spoken about is the way that children are key to today, and how sometimes, they can be the ones that need to help others. Throughout their daily lives, children can be at risk of injury themselves whether that’s whilst at school, on a public playground or whilst using a bouncy castle.
While a key part of teaching safety to children involves showing them how to keep themselves safe and less at risk of injury, it might be someone else that needs them to help in a time of need.Young people can react surprisingly quickly in the event of an emergency – whether it’s a case of running to help a friend who has fallen over in the playground at school, or calling for help when a parent has suffered a more serious injury whilst at home, for example.
We’ve created Little First Aiders to celebrate the times that children have come to the aid of a friend, family member or even a complete stranger who needed help.
How to enter Little First Aiders:
We’re asking children under the age of 11 to:
– Submit a drawing or painting of a time they helped somebody in need of first aid
– Include a little detail about the accident
Entries must be submitted by a parent/guardian by 20th November. A panel of judges will then decide 10 winners, each of whom will win a £100 Amazon gift card.
Join for free and we'll automatically track the competitions you enter. And, as an added perk, you can earn Amazon vouchers for sharing competitions you find.
