Collection of five classic Hollywood films produced by Warner Bros. In 'The Wizard of Oz' (1939) a tornado whisks Dorothy (Judy Garland) and her house from Kansas to Munchkin City, squashing the Wicked Witch of the East upon landing. The Wicked Witch of the West (Margaret Hamilton) vows revenge, while Dorothy sets off on the yellow brick road to see the Wizard of Oz (Frank Morgan), hoping he can tell her how to get home. On the way she makes friends with a scarecrow (Ray Bolger), a tin man (Jack Haley) and a cowardly lion (Bert Lahr) - all of whom have specific reasons for wanting to meet the magical Wizard. With the Wicked Witch out to get her, will Dorothy ever get home again? In 'Citizen Kane' (1941) newspaper tycoon Charles Foster Kane (Orson Welles) dies after uttering the word 'Rosebud'. Reporter Jerry Thompson (William Alland) is assigned the task of uncovering the meaning of Kane's dying word, and in the course of his enquiries he receives varying accounts of his life from former colleagues Jedediah Leland (Joseph Cotten) and Bernstein (Everett Sloane), and ex-wife Susan Alexander (Dorothy Comingore).
