You can also follow these instructions to book the ride:

• Enter your destination into the "Where to?" box on the main screen and click to confirm your location, and again to be matched with a nearby driver.
• Wait for your driver at the pickup location. You can track their current location and how far away they are on the map.
• Once your driver arrives, double check you're getting into the correct car. The Uber app will provide you with the number plate, car make and model, and a driver photo so you can check these match.

Uber trips can only be requested through the app, so never get in a car where the vehicle or driver identity doesn't match what’s displayed in your app.
