To participate in the scheme, you will need to sign up for a Boots Scan2Recycle account and download Boots Recycle New App
Once the account is created, follow these steps:
Upload images of eligible Recyclables into your account - for a full list of eligible recyclables see here.

Go to 'Recyclables'
Select 'Add Recyclables' and take a picture of the product (pictures must be of the whole product with the brand and product name shown - do not upload pictures of the barcode)
Use the drop-down select to label your items with the brand, product, and packaging type
Images are reviewed and verified within 24 hours Monday - Friday, excluding UK public holidays.
Once these are verified you will see them in your approved section in 'Recyclables', they are ready to deposit.
To deposit the items:

Step 2 - Scan the QR code on the applicable scheme recycling points in a participating store

Step 5 - Deposit items
The deposit will be verified, and if successful you will receive the reward voucher in your account.
I think this is a fantastic scheme and works with bonus points.
I managed to get enough points to buy my Dreamland Electric Throw just from the points I earned from doing this
Here is some helpful information but the offer is only until the end of the month.
The new Recycle at Boots app launched last month and thousands of users have already downloaded and deposited.
Reminder: When you download and make your first deposit in the app before 30th April 2024, you can earn an additional 50pts, meaning when you deposit 5 items and spend £10 you could earn 550 points.
You will receive 2 vouchers so remember to use both, and only reveal when you are in-store and at the till point.
jillylovesyou so they have a separate app for doing this ? I keep forgetting to ask about the recycling when I go in as I have never notices any signs thanks for this great information
kate1310 the recycling bin is either by the entrance or beauty counter usually.and looks like this
jillylovesyou thank you I started saving my empty product up but I kept forgetting to ask so I just binned them last week I will look at weekend hopefully they have one
This Is a good incentive to get people to recycle and certainly can rank up some points. Thank you for sharing
This is a fantastic offer I keep forgetting to see if my local store does this it does sound amazing thanks for sharing
I have deposited 600 items over the years now. They have tightened up on the timings and will only allow you half an hour from opening the voucher before it expires now - so make sure you have all your purchases ready and you are near a till (and can get a signal) before you redeem it!
What a good initiative to make here really good saving too many thanks for this lovely deal
If you can be bothered to jump through all the hoops, this could be a nice little earner.
Anything that encourages people to think before binning yet another plastic container etc, has to be a good thing, and the best way to achieve that is to give people something back as a reward. Great that all those who do actually bother are getting nice rewards, and l look forward to seeing if my local store is doing this scheme anytime soon.
This is a great idea. Really good way to get points and help the environment. Excellent scheme from boots.
This is a great scheme but unfo my local boots dont do this. So I would have to do a round trip of 44 miles to do this. Great deal if your close .
