how do you get the £5 ? downloaded the app and bought over £25 goods no discount code or does it take it off at the very end ? the last time i got to the end i bought it before i could check all the discounts ? thank you in advance ?
ChezzaGauden just sent Amazon an email to try my luck cause I wasn't eligible. Maybe the rep will deposit the £5 promo on my account.
i was eligible and downloaded the app but something distracted me and i dont know if i missed a discount number ???

Ahoy! Amazon's rep gave me the £5 promo as a gesture of Goodwill and that he didn't find I was actually a current customer as, well, I never used it before.

Thanks for sharing. To clarify, this deal isn't actually £5 off, it's £5 back, after you spend £25+, just to save people coming after me time I just spent talking to livechat. So you pay full price for the £25+ order, then you get £5 credit on your account towards future purchases.
It does work. You just have to make sure the items that total £25 or over are sold directly from amazon. Find the item you want and on the left of the screen choose a department. After that on the left scroll to the bottom and select "amazon.co.uk" as the seller. These items are eligible.
I used this and it works. You can always install the browser, use the deal and then uninstall it again if it makes you nervous.
The £5 only applies to items sold by Amazon.. The chat adviser kindly removed this from my account and added a normal £5 promotion to my account.
