Seemed like a really good deal but it's only 8GB and iPhones don't support SD cards which makes it even harder if you install a lot of apps, games and then have music, videos and photos on it.

Despite that, it's fine for a kid or an grandparent who might just use for the very basics.

Apple give £80 for good conditioned ones as they recycle the gold components in them... could be an easy profit

That's a great idea. How do we check this? Can't see any links on their website.

Good deal? the cheapest you can get one on ebay second hand is £30!!! Ive been bidding for a couple of days now but this is great if they are new! Although I think the price reduction if because Apple just said they will no longer be supporting Apple 4 or Apple 3 Models - there is always a reason for special deals! Hmm just checked - they arent new but refurbs so you could be getting a pig in a poke!

There is also a topup charge as you need to buy a tariff so its actually £50 not £39.99 - i wish people would research before they put deals on!

Unlocked same condition on ebay £30 - poor deal dude better luck next time!

Ah interesting that Apple aren't supporting these models anymore - you're probably spot on as to that being why they're discounted! Still okay I guess if you just want to check your e-mail and browse the internet but not so great if you're a big fan of apps!

In the OP's defence we've been slacking at LD and not expired this deal quickly enough. It was originally £39.99 but now has gone up to £49.99 (with the top up) as far as I can see? I'll expire the deal now 👍
