Coppenwrath & Wiese Black Forest Gateau 375g on sale at Ocado.com for £1.68 (Available online only.)

We found it at Waitrose couple of years ago (still available there for £2.25), also bought it from Heron Foods (under £2), and now it is available at Ocado too.

If you haven't heard about it or never tried it yet you must try this black forest cake!

"The Black Forest Gateau is the classic German speciality. Its chocolate sponge layers and cherry filling lie ensconced in light, fluffy vanilla cream. Adorned with the finest morello fruits, our Black Forest Gateau is made to the traditional recipe - but without the classic shot of Kirsch. For the perfect end to any meal. Small, fine and truly divine, they'll be gone in an instant."

It consist of three layers of chocolate sponge, cherry filling, cherries and chocolate shavings on top, also filled and covered with light and fluffy double cream. It is very light and yummy, I think it is ideal for 2 person. It is also handy as you just need to defrost it. I would highly recommend it 🙂
