Works out at 0.65p a tin. That is Not cheap at all. Why post? This site is meant to help our community find the best deals, not be ripped off! Do your research before posting. It's not just about collecting Amazon vouchers you know.
DeepPockets Completely agree. Used to get 4 cans for £1 but nowadays its 3 for £1 which would mean £8 for 24 so this is a very poor price.
DeepPockets I post deals some which may not be to ur tasting but to others yes, Who are you to tell me what to do? If you have nothing nice to say keep scrolling and i never sid anything about collecting Amazon vouchers. I do my best ok, have a nice day
ShereeChanie Your meant to be helping the Latest Deals community . If this is your best, don't bother, that way everyone will save money.
DeepPockets Stop telling me what to do, Ur getting ur nickers in a twist for 1 deal u are not happy with, grow up, Ive shared numerous deals.
ShereeChanie The last time I checked we lived in a democracy. You will find that on your pasta pot posting I gave you positive feedback. Stop being offensive and belligerent and just accept that as a community others might not always agree. Have a fantastic day.
DeepPockets I'm not being offensive or aggressive, you constantly telling me what to do when you have no right to, when u said It's not just about collecting Amazon vouchers you know, all the deals and etc i share has nothing to do with it , meaning i enjoy sharing deals and etc but if ur going to get ur thongs in a twist for 1 deal then says it all, as i said i post deals some which may not be to ur tasting but to others yes. But thank you.
ShereeChanie You keep saying that I'm telling you what to do? All I said was that you should do your research before posting. That in my opinion is fair comment. As a member of this community I have every right to ask the question about what is in the words of IronGlaive "a very poor price". I don't know if you've noticed, but there is a cost of living crisis going on at the moment, so forgive me for trying to save people money. If that is not the purpose of Latest Deals then what is?
ShereeChanie You got your points for posting a total "Non Deal" - Happy ? - so you have the same reason for posting "non deals " as sadly do so many members each and every day . Less savvy members will "like" and even less savvy members may even buy . Pretty sure you wouldn't pay 65p per can for Branston beans ? So why post as a deal ?
My view is that responsible members should only post "real deals" to help fellow members but I have realised I have been in the minority for some time .
ShereeChanie Because you have posted a "Non Deal " that you would not buy yourself (I sincerely hope ? ) . It's a deals site ? How and why some members "like" some things is beyond me (maybe because they cannot divide £15.60 by 24 ? , but it happens - so less savvy members buy stuff that is "liked" as they wrongly think it must be good value .
GolfforallIve taken it down, how would you know on what i would and would not buy? It's there choice to like deals, not yours.
ShereeChanie Good rule of thumb I find - if I wouldn't buy it myself (and I would buy Branston beans myself at a fair price ) then I would never post an overpriced item as a deal for fear of misleading fellow members .
Golfforall Go away, everyone has a choice to like whatever deals and etc, Have a great day
ShereeChanie I shall thanks , try to bear in mind the points I have mentioned before posting future deals ? Not just about gaining points for yourself - but mainly (to me anyway ) to save members money .
I post very few deals these days (the majority of which I buy myself ) . Is it too much to ask that members only post " real deals" on a deals site ? Or is it now a "points earning site" to most members ?
Golfforall People post real deals daily, if it's not a deal it gets taken down or removed,I know what i'm doing, It may not be to ur standard or liking but its deals. I will keep posting deals and etc which i think is a bargain, To be honest for me its not about gaining points, i enjoy what i do, i like other people deals to, but for some reason you clearly cant let go of the whole points, its for everyone, i post and also share with my family and friends, there is a saying "You can't please all"
ShereeChanie As a favour to you - www.sainsburys.co.uk/gol-ui/product/branston-baked-beans-in-a-rich-tasty-tomato-sauce-6x410g
Doubt they are the cheapest around (took 5 secs to find ) -saved you £3.80 ( about 25% ) on your "Bargain " . Do the maths ? Feel free to post -at least a bit closer to a "deal" than your "Bargain" .
Golfforall Iv'e taken down the deal, what more you want, as ur all about points, u share it
ShereeChanie Sadly no poor deals ever get taken down - Only if they are duplicates . I think that would require moderators to actually look at the deals .
Golfforall Your absolutely right. I don't know how they get away with it. You mentioned the word "responsible", and that is so true. As the old saying goes" With Power Comes Great Responsibility ".
DeepPockets I'm on it - we should all help our fellow members to understand the "value " of items . After all 50% off an item original price inflated by 120% is no deal at all
Golfforall I couldn't agree more. It's up to us to try and keep people honest. You take care.
DeepPockets We are all facing difficult times ahead . I will not stand by while "deals" on here are promoted as 50% -80% off when they are nothing of the sort - OK it's buyer beware of course - but this site should ban such misleading deals ?
