Amazing how cheap cordless drills have become. I quite like the move to dumb simple power supply chargers with all the charging circuitry in the battery pack itself. It means very easy to replace the charger if necessary its just a simple power supply. You don't have to have a standalone charger unit. However it does end up being another similar power supply that could get confused with another by mistake. The use of the wrong charger is a common cause of lithium ion battery fires.

I bought the grey version of the same drill which I received yesterday. It has slightly more accessories was the only reason. I can confirm that drill has a brushed motor so this should be the same.
