this is an amazing price .it is a good maker and cheaper than argos onw brand .
It has a warm facility, yay! I have several modern slow cookers, 2 small, 3 med and 1 large. All fine for cooking, but been modern and maybe down to new health and safety food rules, the low heat setting is always too hot and food ends up boiling away and/or burning on the sides/top if left on after it's cooked. Thus I may buy the largest size of this range, just to test the warm facility option. Basically I'm striving to find a replacement for the old brown & beige Tower Slow Cookers, which I took to the charity shop. The old Tower slow cookers did take a lot longer to cook, even on the high setting, but because the temp was so much lower, once the food was cooked folk could help themselves all day to a comforting pot of porridge/stew/soup etc. Great for home, work, parties etc. Excellent find, I thank you.
I still use mums old slow cooker it is 40 years old and works like you say you would like!
Old things are the best my boyfriend has Toshiba microwave that is over 50 years old and still working and he is best too lol
