There may however be instances where you will have to pay, which are as followed:
- Generic Excess - We reserve the right to charge excesses and or administration fees in various instances
- Misfuel - if you have put the incorrect fuel in your vehicle, you will be required to pay a £69 excess.
- Repeat fault - If you request assistance for the same fault within any 90 day period we will charge a £79 excess
- Pre-existing fault - if we or our recovery mechanic or specialist believes it is a fault that existed before the membership policy was in place, we will charge you a £79 excess
- Home Breakdown - £35 excess if you do NOT have home cover
I’ve got this deal last month hope I’ll never need their help, but it’s great to get it for free just in case
I took this offer out when previously posted, haven't needed to call them out so cannot comment on their service, its free so no complaints, thanks for sharing
Abdul786 it Says with you read the print at the top of the page thier excess ie if you put the wrong fuel ️ in.£69.00 exess Called out to preexisting fault that was thier before membership £79.excess
I'm not keen on the idea of various excesses and administration charges. Might be just me but aren't they stating then it's free to join then they can charge what they like in your hour of need?
I've seen this before and wondered if there's a tie in after 12 months or if it auto renews and is a hassle to cancel.
Always a catch, have subscribed to something similar last year, simple puncture, could not remove tyre, late at night, so left to call them the next morning, only to be advised to read the small print, MUST REPORT BREAKDOWN WITHIN 6 Hours, thought I would do them a favour by not disturbing them in the middle of the night!
Online helper no good at all, so keep away.
If you read the small print I don't think it's worth the risk. As there are some very vague points. I've worked in insurance and nothing is free
