How To Get This Deal
Just answer a few questions about your boiler. Put in how old it is then select "Next" it will then ask of you want to include a yearly boiler service with your free cover for £4.99 a month, if you do not want this, just click "Next" It will then ask if you want to include emergency plumbing & draining cover for £4.99, again if you do not want this, click "Next".
You will then see this with either the amount being free or the total monthly payment if you have added any of the above extras.
You do need to give your bank details as it will automatically renew after one year but no payment will be taken this year if you have opted for the free service. You are free to cancel at anytime during the year with no change for the free service and if you do not wish to continue after the year, set a reminder to cancel the month before it's due.
⚠ Please note, you must have you boiler serviced in accordance with the manufacturers specifications by an approved heating engineer and send them a copy or they may charge you £80 before they send someone to look at your boiler.

This is a perfect time of the year to get my boiler covered for free.
I'm also going to opt in for the monthly fee for the annual service.
I only hope the service of this company is good. I have had very service in the last from companies like this!
I am in the market for Boiler/Home Emergency cover . So have been wading through the various offerings . It is really important that you understand these T&Cs so I am trying to link them . Link not working ? so perhaps navigate to the Boiler T&Cs .
All insurance based boiler cover products require a boiler to have a current (in the last year) servicing . The one thing that springs out to me is that the optional boiler service part is only carried out between April and September , so if your boiler does not have an in date service then you will have to pay £80 for one before you are covered . Also it appears there is a£95 excess to pay per callout and a maximum repair of £500 per year - Effectively this insurance is for £405 even when all conditions (which I can't totally fathom ) are met .
Personally I would pay £8 a month ( £8.50 TCB) for the current Homeserve offer - 12 month Boiler cover +service - Total net cost £87.50 . The T&Cs appear clearer and you would pay that sort of money for the service alone .
Maybe I'm a silly sausage who likes to actually know exactly what I'm covered for before buying insurance - Which of course should be about peace of mind ?
Another thing to bear in mind is that most of the current offers (including the Homeserve one ) are for 1 year from when they increase dramatically . So keep an eye out when your year expires .
I shall not avail myself of this offer , too many T&Cs for me .

emmabeckz so a boiler breakdown will cost "NOTHING" (as stated in your deal post ) ? Not £95 call out fee as stated in the T@Cs ? My removed comments were both in response to member's questions . I'm sure neither of us would like members to be misled ? Thanks
