If using in a fridge or freezer beware that the lithium batteries will not like it & will not last long....
With electronic thermometers in a fridge or freezer you are better with the type located outside that fridge or freezer with a temperature prove in the fridge or freezer.
We have a smart version linked to our home automation which triggers alerts if the temperatures rise too high which was expensive but you can get basic ones with a probe for inside the fridge or freezer for about £5 online & you can see the temp without opening the door & set an alarm
