A useful set of saucepans, the ProCook Gourmet Steel set of 3 saucepans includes a 14cm, 16cm and 18cm saucepans with 1.1L, 1.7L and 2.4L capacities making them ideal for boiling potatoes, simmering vegetables or cooking pasta.

With a useful strain & pour design they incorporate pouring lips on both sides of the pan so you can pour easily, making them suitable for both left and right-handers. What's more they feature toughened heat resistant glass lids with steel rims with large and small draining holes to safely drain contents.

This cookware is built to offer incredible strength and versatility at amazingly low prices. Made from highest quality 18/10 stainless steel the pans have a 4mm encapsulated base for even heat distribution and perfect cooking results. Each pan features stay-cool silicone handles which are riveted for extra strength.

The Gourmet Steel range is suitable for most hob types* including induction so you will be able to use on all future hob purchases and is oven safe up to 260C meaning you can transfer from hob to oven, or keep ingredients warm in the oven once cooked. Washing up is easy, or you can put the whole range in the dishwasher.

Care Instructions

Getting the most from your Gourmet Steel Cookware

Step 1: Wash the cookware thoroughly

Wash before first use.

Each piece in the range is dishwasher safe so cleaning is easy, or alternatively wash in hot soapy water with a soft brush or nylon pad

Step 2: Cooking with Gourmet Steel

The Gourmet Steel frying, wok and sauté pans feature 5 star ProCook Ultra Plus triple layer PFOA free non-stick coating for amazing stick free cooking. Do not use metal utensils on the non-stick surface as this can damage the coating. We advise using nylon, silicone or wooden utensils for best results.

Do not expose to oven temperatures greater than 260C

Extra special care should be taken on both induction and ceramic hobs not to move pans around once placed on the hob to prevent possible scratching. Scratched hobs are not covered by your ProCook guarantee.

Some tips for cooking on induction hobs

Induction hobs can deliver extremely high heat outputs, often at double or triple times that of a typical gas hob. Therefore, extra care must be taken to reduce the heat setting as excessive heat will damage the pan and this may not be covered by your guarantee.

Only use high heat or boost settings for boiling large quantities of water (e.g. for pasta).

Reduce the heat setting as soon as the desired temperature has been achieved.

Do not use the boost setting to heat oil or fat.

Never heat an empty pan - the high output from an induction hob may damage the pan which is not covered by the guarantee.

Step 3: Cleaning those difficult bits

If there are any burnt-on-bits on pans, soak the pan in hot soapy water to loosen then wash as normal

Do not use steel wool or metal pads as they will scratch the surface of the cookware. Although they will not damage how the pan functions, they may affect the general aesthetic of the cookware.
