Our roast in the bag duck is a simply clever idea. The film bag locks in all of the juices and flavour of the Gressingham Duck so the end result is a tender, succulent duck with a rich gamey flavour. It's simply to cook, just place the pack in the middle of the oven and roast. For crispy skin cut the film as directed after the first 30 minutes and return to the oven. Then remove the duck from the tray and serve with golden roast potatoes and your favourite veg.
The tasty duck
Roast duck is fantastic with simple roast potatoes and your favourite veg, but visit our website for how-to videos and ideas like slow roast duck with potato rosti, orange curd carrots and stout jus.
The well-bred duck
The Gressingham breed came about when the small but flavourful wild Mallard was crossed with the larger Pekin, giving a meaty, succulent duck with more breast meat and less fat. The Gressingham Duck is grown and packed on Red Tractor assured farms and factories in East Anglia.
