The Case:

The slim 38mm case is made from silver stainless steel and has a matte finish to it. The matte finish almost creates a rough and ready attitude for this timepiece which would have been used in the harsh reality of the trenches. At the 3 o’clock position is the crown which once pulled out can be used to tell the time. Furthermore, the ever-present Hamilton logo has been embossed on the side of the crown. Sitting in line with the case is glass made from a strong sapphire crystal material.

The Dial:

The white dial is complemented well by the black Arabic indexes and the old radium color hands. The hands as well as some triangular indexes around the very edge of the dial are coated in a Super-LumiNova material which allows for easy visibility at night.
