Hornby Freight Master Set
There was a time when the Highlands of Scotland were served by a number of independently operating railway lines, many of which were formed for the purpose of transporting freight. In the absence of a good road network, goods such as minerals, fish, parcels and armaments could only be transported economically by rail.
This set is a representation of that period and includes a small 0-4-0 tank engine, a plank wagon and a box van. The oval track circuit can be extended with additional track and accessory packs and a plastic re-railer is included to help with locating the rolling stock on the track.
