- Jack Daniel’s Bonded Rye is a Bottled-in-Bond whiskey, which must be distilled by a single distiller during a single distillation season, matured in a government bonded warehouse for at least four years, and bottled at 100 proof
- Barrels are hand-selected for their characteristics of deeper colour, flavour, and aroma, which deliver a darker, richer, and more oak-forward character
- It’s a big, bold Bottled-In-Bond Whiskey at 100 proof opening with aroma notes of sweet soft fruit, rye spice and oak
- Tasting notes: Dried fruits, toffee and a peppery rye finish
- 50% ABV
Nose: An enticing mixture of sweet, soft fruits mingling with cinnamon, ginger, clove and vanilla.
Palate: Bold and spicy, balanced with sweeter notes of toffee, dried fruit and chocolate.
Finish: Lingering black pepper and chilli heat with caramel.
Here comes a bold addition to Jack Daniel's Bonded Series. To qualify for the Bottled-in-Bond designation, a whiskey must be from a single distillery and single distilling season, aged in a bonded warehouse for a minimum of four years, and bottled at least 100 proof - 50% ABV.
Bonded Rye is made with a mashbill of 70% rye, 18% corn and 12% malted barley. Like the classic No. 7, this is filtered through charcoal after distillation and aged in new American oak casks. If you like a big spicy flavour in your cocktails, then you've come to the right place.
