Product Description:

Led Lenser's T7M tactical torch is a must-have robust lighting tool for those who go in harm's way. It's been specially designed for police, emergency service units as well as search and rescue teams so that it can be used for self-defence, for breaking through panes of glass or for signalling to rescue services by means of the SOS function. Powerful, compact and robust it features a protective anodised coating for better grip and easy handling in the most testing of conditions. A large, non-slip Dynamic Switch enables secure switching between different Smart Light technology functions including strobe, defence, power and boost and sits within a moulded section contoured to smash through glass in emergency situations. Performance is also shattering. With a maximum 400 lumens available from a CREE LED this torch has a range that leaves nothing in the shade up to 280 m away. Add in a fast lock, easy-slide speed focus and the patented Advanced Focus system and it is clear to see why this is a professional torch in a class of its own. A Low Battery Message system even safeguards the user against losing power at a critical moment. Powered by 4 AAA batteries in their own well-protected housing with gold contacts to enhance conductivity and protect against corrosion. Handy wrist strap, belt clip, belt pouch and batteries supplied.

Sorry for my ignorance... I'm all for torches and find them very handy... but am I missing something? How come £31.99 is a good price for a torch? Seems quite expensive?
