March brings with it one of the most popular events in the butchery calendar, National Butchers’ Week. To celebrate, we asked our head butcher Lee to pick out his favourite cuts for our March organic meat box. First up are our hugely versatile organic pork belly slices which are a little indulgent and deliciously rich, simply pan fry with a sweet-sharp barbecue sauce and serve with mash and seasonal greens.
Our organic lamb neck fillet has beautiful internal marbling that makes it super versatile and sweetly flavoured, it works perfectly in a rustic stew or hotpot. Midweek, we don’t think you can go wrong with a tasty lasagne to serve up to the family, our award-winning organic beef steak mince is finely minced with 10% of fat added for flavour. For a date night dinner look no further than our organic chicken thighs - with the skin on and bone left in, you’re guaranteed succulence throughout. Last up is our organic boneless rib of beef is robustly flavoured and has just the right amount of marbling, making it the perfect Sunday lunch joint.
