dimplesz depending on their age - I'd really recommend waiting until black Friday and getting them an Amazon Fire Kids. It'll be a better buy, good parental controls, robust... especially if they're young

SkyUK Thank you I will do. There’s so many to choose from. You look at the original deal posted, but see a better or cheaper tablet/item on the same page lol.

dimplesz unfortunately a lot of these unbranded ones are really not good value. They're poor spec for 2023, but use jargon and (in my opinion) quite misleading titles

The Amazon fire kids are great. You get a year of Amazon kids too, so loads of games and content included. Brilliant definitely for I'd say up to kids around 8 years. Get the best spec one you can afford, it'll run games better. Minecraft (not free, but only a few quid) runs nicely on the decent spec ones

They do have limitations, they don't have Google play installed, so can't natively have YouTube etc - again less of a problem for younger kids

It’s the information from other posters like yourselves that help others who might not know the difference and just think if it’s a big reduction … it’s a great deal iykwim? Thank you xx
