Not worth it in my opinion. I gave it a try for a couple of months and dropped it after. It takes a lot of time to scan everything and even more time to earn anything valuable. Sounds great at first, but once you try it it’s a pain.
Maybe a great idea for a pensioner or somebody who doesn’t mind wasting loads of time everyday to scan all the shoppings (scanning itself is a very slow process as well).

MartinaJanacova yes, you have to scan every single item and it's a very slow system. It would be perfect if you could just scan the receipt, but that's not the way this works.

I haven't got any kids and I got on. I think it depends on the amount of people in the area you live in! 
Not going to be a positive comment . Sorry but I hate shopping at the very best of times, but walking around and scanning it would definitely take much longer lol xxx
Any idea how much points given for scans, I don't find clear information on the rewards details?!
They don't give you enough points to keep you motivated. In my opinion it was a waste of time, so I returned the scanner.
I’ve been trying to sign in but get so far and that’s it, as a lady said I have no children at home so they are not interested.
I have kids but don’t have lndlibe so don’t qualify neither , anyway I use Shoppix and receipt hog it’s similar thing and everyone can have it without any problems lol
It does say on there website they take single people to 90 year olds. So even if you dont have kids and want to give this a go, you shouldnt let not having kids stop you. But its not for me i dont think. I hate shopping as it is
I’ve done it for over 20 years, saved my points up and got an iPad free a few years ago, have had other stuff too with my points. I’ve been doing it so long it’s part of my shopping trip

Can anyone give info on how many points you get and how many are needed for a few items please? It would give us can idea if it would take weeks/months or years to earn something worth having. Thanks

You need a landline to be in, I don’t qualify coz we don’t use landline just mobiles that’s rubbish as who does have landline these days
Nope you don't need a land line to join. They have different types of scanners. Mine is gprs as I have no telephone line. So apply when you wish
I tried to sign up and put in 2 kids and it just kept looping round and saying I had to fill that field in. Tried a dozen times deleting and refilling the field to no avail. But as soon as I put 0 kids it accepted it but then said I didn’t meet the criteria!! 
Oh well!

Very dependent on where you live I think. I've tried to sign up several times and always get rejected.

I live in the isles and there for was rejected I’m not sure how anyone can carry out accurate surveys without taking in to account all areas and life styles ! Especially when the isles are overcharged continually because of our location !
Takes ages to get anything out of it shopnscan is much better and easier!
Acneilsen is a bit of a hassle to do and slow with the hand scanner and you have to remove all the yellow stickers from reduced price meals making it a real effort for not much remuneration.
I did it for a few months but found it quite a chore. I have 7 people in my household therefore they expect the scanning activity to reflect that otherwise you will start getting phone calls. You have to scan min once a week and the reward on offer just wasn't stacking up for me. After 3 months of scanning I qualified for a free luggage weight tool worth about £10. Deal didn't stack up for me returned back to base
Filled in 15 questions including my mobile number told at the end i do not match their criteria.
Also would note they would like to add their cookies onto your device so they can snoop on your consumer habits.
