A glam Parisian boutique hideout with rooftop bar and inventive French fusion cuisine in the centre of the sights – breakfast and a suite option included
Accommodation
The hotel has enlisted designer Dorothée Meilichzon to drape her trademark touches across the guest rooms: think canopied beds, deep pops of colour, cleverly positioned mirrors and rustic-luxe furniture. The building was constructed on the cusp of the French Revolution and the design references this with louche satin bedding and muted salmon and sage colours splashed on the walls.
Amenities are thoroughly modern however, with USB plugs beside the beds, a mirror TV, an artisan minibar filled with spirit miniatures and wasabi popcorn, and an espresso machine with organic coffee. Take the pouch of complimentary organic bathroom amenities home: it includes brands like Ren and Codage. Standard (Petit Boulevard) rooms clock in at a cosy 15 square metres, overlook the courtyard and have queen-size beds with satin sheets; Superior (Saint Fiacre) rooms are larger at 18 square metres; and Junior suites (Parisian Eaves) are on the top floor, with exposed ceiling beams.
