I ordered this to use for some craft bits and for Scouts:
- The blow torch came nicely packaged with some decent product information.
- It does not come with any butane which is normal, and you can pick up a decent can of butane gas from Amazon for a decent price.
- Looks wise, it looks the part and like it could be a decent blow torch.
- It feels ok, slightly plasticky but ok. Not the most durable of blow torches I have used before.
- Filling it is very fiddly and there is no indication on how much fuel is in there and if you are near filling it completely... Which isn't good at all.
- Use wise it's completely useless... It sparks the gas 1 out of 3 times you try, and the gas only stays lit for a few seconds. But if you keep the trigger down, gas still comes out so it's a bit dangerous...
- You can increase/decrease the flame size with a little knob, but it doesn't seem to do much to be
honest. You don't see a noticeable change in size of the flame...
- It seems to leak fuel as well... I found a small puddle of it around the blow torch where it had obviously leaked from somewhere... Not good.
I cannot recommend this for safety reasons. You are probably better off putting more money in to a better quality blow torch.
