PixelNinjaWhiz Your sink is essentially a mat with drainer already there. you really need to protect the worktop behind in which case this product will do nothing I am afraid. I just wipe it with tea towel or keep a tea towel behind the tap area.
Even from the picture you provided water will splash on the left side and not on the mat plus it does look bad.
Silly idea. You will have black mold underneath and how that suppose to catch the water splashing everywhere except the mat. Additionally it will look bad in most situations. Even the generic photo doesn't look good. Pointless product.
