- Universal: Works well with just about any rocker switch and button of any appliance. Smart button pusher for your smart home. Supports Press mode / Switch mode. Long battery life.

- Easy to set up: 5 second installation. Tape it right next to a rocker switch or button with a 3M sticker. No swapping, no tools are required. Easy App operation.

- Even better with SwitchBot Hub: With SwitchBot Hub Plus/Mini (only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi), you can control your SwitchBot remotely from anywhere and enable voice control. Works well with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri and IFTTT.

- Timers: Use the SwitchBot App to schedule built-in timers and run without your phone or Hub. Turn lights or home appliances on/off automatically even when you’re away. Free your hands.

- SwitchBot Ecosystem: Linkage with other SwitchBot products is possible. Open SwichBot devices in set Scenes via App. Supports SwitchBot API.

Tommmo91 no you don't need 2 this one turns it both on and off - taken from a question on the listing

Be sure not to lose the small plastic 'loop' which comes with it. This is required for the 'pull' action to turn the light switch back to the off position. The main unit has an appendage, for the want of a better word, to take care of the 'push' action. When it retracts the attached 'loop' pulls on the light switch, returning it to the off position.

emmabeckz You'll need 2 of theses if your switch is not a rocker switch. It only works by pushing one way. Not both ways.

Looks like nice little gadget, but to be able to control it with your voice you also need to buy a hub. Its better to get Philips Hue bulb.

You only need one to switch on and off. In the 'customer questions and answers' section in the listing, it says it includes an add-on that allows you to use a 'push' motion to turn it on and a 'pull' motion to turn it off.

These are very handy but be aware that if you want to use Alexa or another voice assistant, you need to have the Switchbot hub. Without the hub you need to use their phone app.

Do you have to pay for the switchbot hub? Do you know I'f there is a limit on how many you can use? Sorry for the long post I'm disabled and these would make life so much easier for me if they work with alexa as claimed
