I've had my Tassimo over 8 years now and it still works perfectly. I can't rate Tassimo highly enough. If you have arthritis, carpal tunnel or any difficulty using your hands then these are perfect for you, so much safer than lifting a kettle of boiling water. At this price I'm tempted to buy it and store it should my old faithful ever give up the ghost.

I've got a Tassimo and they do make nice coffee, but they seem to regularly sell the machines cheap and I think it's because it ties you into the pods which really aren't cheap. The pods are also very difficult to recycle (plastic and metal glued together).

I've pretty much stopped using mine now for this reason... However the post above about them being good for arthritis or other conditions is really interesting though, thanks for sharing that mybloominfone
