Google Maps and Apple Maps on phone come free and much more reliable and always updated with traffic alerts . TomTom charges hand and mouth for updates . Does not even honour lifetime update promise .
Yes they do but some people don't have/use maps on their phone, they prefer a traditional Satellite Navigation.
Anyway, maps on phones are not perfect and do not always show all the information you need.
BullFrog They are much more updated than TomTom. Show real time traffic information as well like accidents . Every week I find new ways around traffic jams
I agree but most Sat Navs you can get live updates for traffic as well.
Sat Navs can also show you Weight Restrictions, Height Restrictions (Low Bridges etc), Width Restrictions etc. That is not available on phone maps, maybe it will come at a later date.
