What is Pokémon Go Plus?

Pokémon Go Plus is a wristband accessory device designed to look like a Pokéball that allows you to play Pokémon Go catching Pokémon and collecting items without constantly needing to have your phone in your hand.

Compatible with both iOS and Android Pokémon GO Plus connects to any smartphone that has the Pokémon GO application installed via Bluetooth technology.

Once set-up, players can encounter and catch Pokémon without constantly having to look at their smart phone. When the smart phone and Pokémon GO Plus are within range of each other, both vibrate when a Pokémon is close by.

There’s no graphical display - when a Pokémon is near, the Pokémon GO Plus vibrates and its LED flashes green . Players can press the button on the Pokémon GO Plus once close to throw a Poké Ball.
