No, I have tried everything and searched and searched the Internet for a solution, and was at a complete loss, and then I mentioned it to Emma and she was absolutely brilliant and gave me a tip on how I can access my photos without using everything on the Start button, and that has allowed me to post pics again, the trouble is, when you are not that techie and you are used to doing things a certain way, when that way changes, you are stumped, I mean, I'm not stupid, I can do quite a bit I think, but when the problems get more technical I struggle, I didn't think for a minute that the whole Google Chrome system would crash on me, I have IE but it's not that good and I've never hardly used it because of that, it's such a pain that if I'm multi tasking and temporarily forget, and click the dreaded Start button, I get the lilac-y colour 'Start button memory page critical error' come up and I can do absolutely nothing but log out and in again, I am cursing sooooo much now I'm surprised you can't here me where you are!! x

JoTarpley sorry I wasn't of much help, just finished homeschooling, the last day of it, next week is half term and then I am sending them back to school no matter if they have covid or not Sometimes the only solution is to format the hard drive and start from scratch Or perhaps, could you try to run updates and see if that might fix the issue?

sunshinemum Well I haven't been much support when you have been struggling homeschooling, and I am sorry about that and as for the puter, I don't really want to start from scratch to be honest, and I'm hoping for a miracle here , and the wackiest thing ever is that for me always being behind lately, I am actually up to date, howling with laughter at my own joke x

JoTarpley do you have dropbox? If yes, have you tried uninstalling it? I would probably start by disabling different software to find out which one is causing the issue...

On another note, half of the comments from the boots freebie are now gone, not sure if you saw them all but will PM you tomorrow

sunshinemum Well I've just seen I've lost 40 points again and 20 yesterday but I can see which comments are gone , I find it a bit worrying when that happens to be honest, but I firmly believe I haven't said anything that isn't true and I tried to keep it light so you shouldn't really get in trouble for that !

No I haven't got dropbox, but thanks, it might have helped, if I'd had it unfortunately you haven't got a Nanny, that might have helped you just palm the kids off when you've had enough I guess we both won't miss what we haven't got!! x

JoTarpley I think they were removed for being off topic or maybe no one understands our sense of humour but don't worry too much, it was probably me more than you, mrmac really got on my nerves...

Regarding your tech issue, have you tried starting in safe mode and troubleshoot from there? Or let me know what exactly have you tried so far?
