The Royal Mail Letters To Santa service runs every year. Children can write to Santa at the Royal Mail’s special Santa/Father Christmas, Santa's Grotto address and get a free personalised reply Letter from Santa all the way from the North Pole! It only costs you the price of one stamp.

The Royal Mail Letters To Santa Service for Christmas 2018 will start in October / early November so it’s probably best to wait until then to send your letter to Santa to be absolutely sure nothing has changed! I’ll update this post as soon as the Royal Mail Letters To Santa service goes live.

Here’s how to write a LETTER TO SANTA via Royal Mail this Christmas 2018, and get a FREE personalised reply letter from Santa himself!

1. Write a letter to Santa telling him what you want for Christmas

2. Make sure that you include your full name and address in your letter so Santa can write back to you.

3. Stick a stamp on the letter that you send to Santa

4. Send your letter to:

Santa/Father Christmas,

Santa's Grotto,

Reindeerland,

XM4 5HQ

5. Post your letter by Friday 7th December 2018 so Santa has time to reply

6. Wait for your FREE ROYAL MAIL REPLY LETTER FROM SANTA

7. That’s it!

Can I clarify is it a stamp on the envelope you post the letter in and a second stamp to reciebe a reply is not needed ? Or is it 2 stamps needed one to send and 1 to receive ? thanks

You’ve missed the Fri 7th Dec deadline for posting your letter to Santa. But you may still be lucky if you’re very quick.

I suggest you don’t tell your children that Santa will reply. Then IF he does it will be a bonus, And if he doesn’t they won’t be disappointed.

I sent 4 letters over 4 weeks ago now all with stamps on plus names and addresses were included inside. Weve not recieved any replys back! Weve got 4 kids asking when santas going to be writting back 🤔

How long is it you wait for a reply roughly? My children sent a letter to santa in the middle of November and haven't recieved anything back yet? Will they still recieve something?? Thank you

They receive about 600,000 requests so are dispatching all the time, as fast as they can, and try to reply to as many kids as possible, but there is no guarantee of a reply letter.
