You don`t get offered much.I checked on a £20 railway book in hardback and was offered about £1.50.

friday25 although that’s a small amount it’s still better than donating it to a charity shop.

PjranTrue, but there is not a WH smiths near me, and costs me more to actually take the books there, so not worth it for me, but I do get what you are saying.

Fantastic idea. Thanks for sharing! I'll sort through my old books and see if any are worth anything!

I am very much in favour of people using recycling system instead of just landl=filling all their old books so well done

I tried this for the first time yesterday and got £5.34 for three books. Its great took them to my local W H Smith and within a couple of minutes of getting my books sorted I had an email through with my voucher. Brilliant idea to save books from going to landfill

Pjran Its great this post was shared otherwise I wouldn't have known. I've had these books for ages. Not only did I get to free up some space I got a great incentive.

Scanned over 20 books, all valued too low, so basically they just want you to give them your expensive books for a pittance when you'd get more for them on vinted or ebay!!!

walshy19722014 no one buys books on eBay unless postage is free and they’re under £4 a pop! Good luck making any profit after fees and paying to send them!
