You don`t get offered much.I checked on a £20 railway book in hardback and was offered about £1.50.
Fantastic idea. Thanks for sharing! I'll sort through my old books and see if any are worth anything!
I am very much in favour of people using recycling system instead of just landl=filling all their old books so well done
I tried this for the first time yesterday and got £5.34 for three books. Its great took them to my local W H Smith and within a couple of minutes of getting my books sorted I had an email through with my voucher. Brilliant idea to save books from going to landfill
ChelsieLou90 That’s good to hear you got something back for your old books. Proves it works thanks for sharing.
Pjran Its great this post was shared otherwise I wouldn't have known. I've had these books for ages. Not only did I get to free up some space I got a great incentive.
Scanned over 20 books, all valued too low, so basically they just want you to give them your expensive books for a pittance when you'd get more for them on vinted or ebay!!!
walshy19722014 no one buys books on eBay unless postage is free and they’re under £4 a pop! Good luck making any profit after fees and paying to send them!
thats a good iniciative, either donated or doing this way ,we save the enviroment and do our good deed.
I’ll give this a try as I usually sell mine via ziffit, I’ll see how the prices offered compare
I agree Friday 25 it seems as though they want your books to sell off at a massive profit !!!!!!
