You can get now FREE DAY OUT National Science & Media Museum, Bradford.
Situated in Bradford, the National Science & Media Museum showcases an incredible collection of photography, film and television, with exhibitions that delve into the science and technology behind the things you see.
Spread across eight floors, it has a little something for everyone, with the Kodac and Insight Gallery on the Lower Ground Floor, where you can see the world’s first ever moving image, as well as travelling through the history of photography. One floor up, they have an IMAX cinema where you can catch the latest blockbuster, and up again, are two floors of temporary exhibition spaces, where you’ll find an ever-changing selection of visiting shows.
That’s just the beginning though, because you’ve got four more floors to explore. On the Third Floor, there’s the Wonderlab & TV Gallery, you can get hands on with the science of light and sound here, while upstairs in the Magic Factory promises magic mirrors, witches and more. That leaves us with the Games Lounge & Animation Lounge on the Fifth Floor, plenty of fun to be had there, and the BFI Mediatheque on the Sixth Floor, where you can watch classics from the BFI National Archive.
