At DRWF we encourage anyone with diabetes, especially those prone to experiencing hypoglycaemia, to wear or carry this type of identification.
We offer our diabetes awareness necklace together with a diabetes check-up card FREE to anyone requesting them. The charity is able to offer these FREE as part of our outreach support programme.
However, as we distribute high volumes of these necklaces each year, you are required to send a stamped self-addressed envelope to the value of £1.01 to cover the postal costs, or make a minimum donation of £2.
Our necklaces, which can be worn discreetly under clothing, are designed to alert anyone providing emergency medical assistance to the condition of the individual.
This can help speed up diagnosis and treatment considerably and could even mean the difference between life and death.
Great little necklace just tuck it under your T-shirt great for making people aware if you have a episode and only need to pay postage, thank you for sharing
My son has T1. Not sure he would wear this though. Maybe could get him to hang on his keys. He does wear a wristband so it would just be a backup item. Thanks for posting
This is a really good idea for someone to have on them. Great that these are free too, could really help someone
We send our newsletter once a day with the very best deals, vouchers and freebies shared by our community. Make sure you don't miss all that lovely free stuff!
