I honestly don't see the point in these, if your going to stop smoking then just stop, i quit 2 years ago ,if I can do it anybody can, only will power will do it, using these devices is only prolonging it plus there is the added expense

martinlufc5637 I disagree with you, because you quit dies not mean everyone can, are you unique 🤔

mista53 5 of us stopped smoking at the same time on will power alone, so no I'm not unique , and your clever remark is pretty childish so jog on...🖕

@ martinlufc5637 Maybe you should be the face of anti-smoking-cessation classes, therapies, books, chewing gums, sprays and thousands of other effective methods? The NHS could do with saving millions by following your example and looking through your single focused causation lense.

I, and millions of others have quit traditional tobacco with the the aid of these devices and by denouncing them, you're possibly preventing others from quitting or reducing their current consumption.

If willpower alone was the answer, perhaps we'd all have the willpower to not start smoking in the first place.

subdub yes I agree I should be, and when these devices start causing health issues with unregulated liquids which loads use because they are cheap, yet more burden on the NHS, you don't know the long term health issues with these devices or are u a health spokesman on these liquids, maybe you should be......you seem to know all the answers

martinlufc5637 Unregulated liquids was never a point mentioned, until you mentioned it now, so that's a moot point and change of tune from you.

As for the long term health benefits, that cannot be proven or disproven (yet). What can be proven and is factual, is that these devices can prevent people from using and being reliant on hardcore, 'straight' tobacco, which is far more carcinogenic. How many people do you see in NHS hospitals as a direct result of using e-cigarettes and even unregulated liquids vs. loose tobacco and cigarettes?

Your blanket statement of 'these don't work' is injurious and misleading. So, unless your logic adds up this time and you don't change tune again, I think we're done discussing this.

subdub don't talk down to me, unregulated or not no one knows the harm these can cause, the best way to stop smoking and stay healthy is will power, my dad used nicotine chewing to stop, well he ended up addicted to this gum, costing £10 a day and ended up smoking again, that eventually killed him 2 years ago lung cancer, hence why I quit, it's makes me laugh when people say Ive quit smoking and now use a vape instead

martinlufc5637 Perhaps you ought to be writing a novel, biography, or in Readers Digest with your personal experiences. Can you use a little "will power" (that you seemingly have in abundance) and stop tagging me in posts now? Especially now that everything you've claimed has been nullified.

If you've got will power you will do it if you haven't don't bother.
