Once you got it, freeze 20g cubes for use in the future. Works fine and unlike dried yeast, won't die in the jar / sachet.
Freeze your flour! I have been using my stash frozen in 2011 for a rainy day! Wrap in airtight bags so as to keep dry!
Tesco no longer sell or give away fresh yeast. I was told they are "not allowed to". Shame, as it's so difficult to get hold of.

I got fresh yeast by asking at the bakery in Tesco’s in Bedford today. Very helpful and much appreciated.
