What’s included in a Gillette starter kit?
We call your first razor subscription delivery your ‘starter kit’. This will contain your chosen handle and blade, a 75ml shaving gel, and a travel case for your razor – everything you need to get started. After that, your deliveries will contain your four refill blades.
How do Gillette razor subscriptions work?
Step 1
Get started with your Gillette shave club subscription by choosing your razor from our two most popular blades: SkinGuard Sensitive or the Fusion5 ProGlide with innovative FlexBall technology.
Step 2
When you’ve chosen your preferred razor blades, decide when you’d like to receive your refill packs. We base the frequency of blade refill deliveries on how often you shave in a week. Every Gillette razor refill pack includes 4 blades for your chosen razor, so you’ll never run out.
After you sign up
After you place your order, you’ll receive a Gillette starter kit including your chosen razor blade, a shave gel and a travel case for your razor. After 15 days, we’ll send out your first blade refill pack containing 4 blades, then keep sending them to your door as often as you choose.

It’s easy to delay, amend or cancel your shaving subscription by visiting the ‘My Account’ section of our website.
How do I make changes or cancel my subscription?
You can make all sorts of changes to your monthly shaving subscription via the ‘My Account’ section, including:
Updating your delivery address by going to My Account > Select Your Subscription > Delivery Details and click Change Address
Updating your payment details
Delaying your next shipment date by up to two months
Subscription deliveries cost £3.95.
Standard UK deliveries cost £3.95 or free if you spend over £15.

I claimed this deal a few months ago and was very happy with it . If I remember correctly it is a subscription for razor blade refills after the free trial (razor starter kit).
I cancelled the subscription soon as I received the starter kit without any problems

JoTarpley your more than welcome , it was delivered by Evri(Hermes) within two days I think (I know it was very fast to arrive )

JoTarpley yes true, I am still waiting on some samples of deodorant I ordered in May that never arrived. When I contacted them I was told they should have been delivered so could I check with my neighbours ?!?! I did check with neighbours but no luck so replied that they hadn’t been taken in by neighbours and couldn’t delivery company tell if , when and where they were delivered to . I was advised a replacement would be sent out . It didn’t arrive and I got the same response about neighbours, I replied that surely whoever is responsible for delivering items should know where they delivered them so I shouldn’t need to “check with neighbours “!!! This time a replacement would be sent using their VIP service. Even then they didn’t arrive and the tracking numbers I was given are not correct.
THIS EXPERIENCE WAS NOT BY GILETTE.(I was happy with their service

JoTarpley I know, it’s so annoying though , I still haven’t received them but it’s such a nightmare contacting them and going through the stupid process of “ask the neighbours “ and “check any safe places it could have been left “!!!!!
I mean why do I need to play “hunt the parcel”? Most companies take a photo when delivery package as proof, so why can’t the company ask courier “where is the parcel ?”.
The cheek of them is I received an email to “refer a friend “ LOL

Of course its really a case of the Gillette company needing the handles to get out there so that they can mae the real money from the cash cow that is the replacement blades.
PaxAmericana you cancel your subscription before the blades are sent out . Also you can choose how often or not so often you want replacement blades
A lot of comments about postage but it is shown in description and there are not many companies that do not charge for postage. I believe if you was purchasing this item for its true retail price of £15(as stated above) you would still have postage charge added.
I think it's a good deal
Having ordered this, it was delivered quickly and is great quality, the razor feels heavy and is easy to hold and with the sharp blades it gives you very clean shave unlike some other brands i have experienced. The shaving foam is also great has a nice fresh scent and works perfectly!
