These are short surveys that are in your profile. The app uses your answers to these surveys to match you with brands that fit naturally in your lifestyle.

Some of the snaps take 30 seconds, and others might take a little longer. When you first sign up, you will have a lot of snaps to fill out. It is well worth the time you will invest in answering them when you consider the value of the free stuff you could get from it.

Be Active on the App

Another thing that will help you get picked for a VoxBox is to be active on the app. Follow other users, comment on their reviews, etc.

Ask questions for other people to answer and answer other people’s questions. Active users are more likely to get free stuff than inactive ones.

Completely Fill out Your Profile

You also need to go in and fill out your profile. Be detailed and fill out every single field, including the profile picture. They use this information to pair you with appropriate brands, so you might get overlooked if you leave it unfinished.

The only required activities after you receive a delivery are to check in your box (letting them know you received it) and to fill out a final survey with what you thought about the items.

However, when you receive a box, they will also send a list of activity requests. These could include sharing the box on Instagram, snapping a pic of it on Snapchat, or sharing it on Facebook. Each item you do will give you more points. Honestly, the more things you do, the more active you are, and the more attractive your profile is for more VoxBoxes.

Grow Your Social Media Followers

The number of social media followers you have does impact whether you are chosen for VoxBox campaigns. Do everything you can to grow not just your followers but also your engagement rate.

Tip: I’ve discovered that the Influenster app does not update my follower counts automatically. So every time I have a dramatic increase in followers, I will go in and reload or reconnect my accounts. This usually does the trick!

After you sign up for Influenster, check out your Social Impact page. This is where you can connect your social media accounts and track your impact score. If you are a blogger, you can add the Influenster widget to your blog, which will earn you an automatic 10 points. After you go through and add them all, it might take a few hours to calculate your Impact score.

Another thing that will increase your Impact Score (and chances of getting a box) is by inviting your friends. If you invite friends who are active on social media, that helps your score!

Pay Attention to Their Emails

When Influenster thinks you are a good fit for an upcoming VoxBox, they will send another email with more questions to answer. You need to answer these emails and follow the instructions to be chosen for these campaigns.

One way to never miss an email from them is to add their email address to your “priority” list. Set up your inbox so that all emails from them are displayed prominently in your inbox.

It is also imperative that you answer these emails promptly. Some of the VoxBox campaigns fill up quickly. If you wait too long to answer the survey, you might miss out on the chance to receive the box.
