If you have Google Home you can now make free telephone calls.
Press the blue button above to go to a Google support page, showing you how to set it up and then make the calls.
Basically, you say "Hey Google, call...." and then say the number or contact you have saved.
This used to be available for the US only, but it seems Google has updated it to work in the UK too.

Who can I call?
Personal contacts and millions of business (mobile and landline) - Call your own personal contacts or millions of businesses in the U.K. thanks to Google’s extensive business listings. You can also call a number by speaking it aloud.
Emergency calls - Calls to emergency services (including 999 and 112) aren’t currently supported with your Assistant on Google Home.
