Free Workshops for Kids + Other Resources
The Dogs Trust Education Team have been delivering free educational workshops and assemblies across the UK since 2003. Educating children about responsible dog ownership and safety around dogs is an important part of what we do at Dogs Trust.
By helping young people learn about the responsibilities and commitment involved in dog ownership, we believe we can improve the welfare of dogs, both in the homes of the children we teach, as well as dogs they may meet when out and about in the community.
Our aim is to ensure all dogs can lead a happy, healthy life and encouraging and developing the required human behaviour to achieve this is of fundamental importance to the Dogs Trust mission
**Due to the current Coronavirus outbreak in this country, we are closely monitoring the situation and taking guidance from the Government and will keep you all updated as things progress. The safety of our staff and learners we visit is paramount to us, but rest assured we will be in touch to rebook your school workshops as soon as possible.
Attention all teachers!
We are now offering 30 minute online workshops where we deliver our core safety messages to children who are currently in school. These fun, interactive sessions are delivered via Zoom or Microsoft Teams directly to the classroom! If you are interested and would like to find out more, please contact us via email at educ@dogstrust.org.uk. We can't wait to hear from you!
