Help reduce waste by dropping off your clean home textiles to our stores.

We’ll find a new home for your cooking, dining and decor bits, in your local community.

Give your bulky, unwanted pieces a second chance with help from our partners.

Buy a new electrical item from us and we’ll recycle your old one for free.

Help reduce waste by dropping off clean home textiles at our stores*. Your contributions will be re-used, donated, or recycled into something new.

*Not available in Camarthen, Crawley, Feltham, Jersey, Kidderminster, Llanelli, Loughborough, Scarborough and Yeovil.

What do we accept?

We accept all home textiles, including clothing. Just remember, we can only accept clean, bagged textiles, but it's fine if they're ripped or torn

How it works

  1. Wrap or bag your pre-loved textiles.
  1. Drop them off at a participating store.
  1. They’ll be sorted by what can be re-used or recycled.

FIND YOUR NEAREST DUNELM STORE.........

What happens next?

All contributions will be rehomed or recycled, after a thorough inspection process. Our aim is to keep products in use for as long as possible, so we’ll only recycle textiles when they’ve reached the end of their useful life.

Textiles that are ready to be recycled are combined with other post-consumer sources and repurposed into new items as part of our Conscious Choice Remade collection. These products are made from at least 40% pre-loved materials, which we think gives them an extra feel-good factor.

How does Home to Home work?

Home to Home is an opportunity to pass on your pre-loved homeware at participating stores, and we find them a new home in the local community.

  1. Check below what items can be passed on
  1. Bring them with you on your next visit, if your local store is participating
  1. We'll find them a new home so they'll be loved again!

We’re currently accepting: cookware, dinnerware, glassware, tableware, bakeware and home decor, as long as they’re in good, instantly usable (and loveable) condition.

We’re working with Age UK and community experts to find new homes for your pre-loved homewares:

Brushstrokes • Depaul • Emmaus Coventry • HomeAid • The Restore Project • Stepping Stone Projects • Porthi Dre • The Wallich • YMCA Fylde Coast • Feel Good Factory • New Start • Chester Aid to the Homeless • Ravenhead Foyer • Bridge Foyer

Drop off your pre-loved homeware at the following stores: Altrincham, Ashton Under Lyne, Bangor, Blackburn, Blackpool, Bolton, Bromborough, Chester, Exeter, Garston, Liverpool, Livingston, Oldbury, Preston, Radcliffe, Rugby, Sefton, Liverpool, Southport, St Helens, Stockport, Trafford, Warrington, Wrexham, Enfield, Romford, Croydon and Greenford.

  1. Bring your old electrical item to a store within 28 days
  1. Show us the receipt for your new purchase, and we'll do the rest
