Why become a tester?

We are continually updating the Lab and adding new products, but to do this we need your help! We have built a shiny new testing site called the “Sandbox”. It’s cram-packed with new features, products, and functionality. Before we release it on the general public, we need testers to navigate the system, draft their blocks and test the fit. This ensures we are creating the best possible product. Not only that, but it gives you a chance to have your say and tell us what you really want. So far, we’ve had an amazing response from our community, with loads of suggestions about how we can improve the experience further. It’s an exciting time producing new products, so why not be a part of it? Oh yeah… Any product you draft in the Sandbox is completely FREE!

The Sandbox

The Sandbox is our online testing system and is completely separate from the standard PatternLab online system. For this reason, your account in the Sandbox is independent of any account in our standard system, with its own password and profiles. The Sandbox experience may change from day to day as we fix problems and implement suggestions from our testers. All available products in the Sandbox are free of charge. Even when a nominal price is displayed, the checkout will only simulate a payment and never ask for your PayPal details.

What does it entail?

To get started, simply click the button at the top or bottom of this page to send us an email. We will review your request and possibly ask you some introductory questions. Once you have been accepted, we will set you up with a shiny new Sandbox account, giving you instant access to all our new blocks and features for free! All we ask in return is that you keep in touch throughout the process, send us a series of images and write notes about each test block that you draft. Ideally, we would aim for 1-2 weeks testing time. We offer one to one help and advice throughout the process, to help you get the best possible fit from your test basic blocks.

Testing accounts are limited due to the number of applicants.

The success of your application is dependent on your technical ability and the amount of time you have to dedicate to the project.
