The ever popular BBC Radio 3 show Friday Night is Music Night is coming to Cardiff's BBC Hoddinott Hall on Wednesday 22 May bringing the magic of stage and screen to life.

From the iconic tunes of Luck Be a Lady and Singing in the Rain, to the heartwarming melodies of Somewhere Over The Rainbow and Annie Get Your Gun, this concert is a must for all musical enthusiasts!

Performed by BBC National Orchestra of Wales with conductor Stephen Bell and soloists Tim Howar and Juliette Crosbie, prepare to be dazzled by classics from Mary Poppins, West Side Story, Wicked and many more classic productions.

Join us for an unforgettable journey through cinematic soundscapes, right in the cosy confines of BBC NOW's home hall which is based on Level 2 of the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bay.

Tickets will be allocated by random draw.

You can register at any time until 10am on Monday 6 May.

How to be in the audience

Step 1: Apply for tickets

Tickets for this show are being allocated by random draw, so when we receive your ticket request your details are added to the list of applicants. Applications are accepted until the publicised closing date/time.

Step 2: Receive a message

Once the random draw has closed all eligible requests are entered into the draw. If successful, we notify you by text message and send your e-ticket(s) to your email address. If unsuccessful you will be kept on the waiting list in case anyone cancels their tickets.

Step 3: Bring your tickets and ID

We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people. Remember that every guest must bring original approved photo ID.
