Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q)
PAR-Q is designed to help you help yourself. Many health benefits are associated with regular exercise and the completion of PAR-Q is a sensible first step to take if you are planning to increase the amount of physical activity in your life.
If you become more physically active, it's important you are fit to do so. Please read the statements below and if any of these apply to you please e-mail us at fitness@bemilitaryfit.com:
I have a heart condition
I (sometimes) feel pain in my chest when I'm physically active
In the past month I've had chest pain when not undertaking physical activity
I have recently lost balance due to dizziness or lost consciousness
I have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse due to physical activity
I am currently being prescribed medication by my Doctor for blood pressure or a heart condition
I currently suffer from diabetes
I currently suffer from epilepsy
I am aware of other reasons why I should not take part in physical activity in a gym environment
