Say “thank you” to an amazing teacher and we’ll send them a lovely card through the post, with your personal message, for free. Anyone can send a card; children, students, parents, grandparents and colleagues can all say thank you to a teacher, teaching assistant, headteacher or team.
It can be for anything – helping your child settle in, last year’s class teacher, helping you through a difficult time, understanding something tricky or just being supportive, kind or funny! Let’s see how many teachers we can thank!
You can send a card to any teacher working in the United Kingdom. Cards are sent out in batches, usually about every 6 weeks.
Will tell my granddaughter about this and got to get off our teacher despite her hardly being in school the last year
Will tell our daughter to Do one of these for her teacher for when she goes back to school next week
As the parent of a primary school teacher, whose workload has doubled with teaching vulnerable and key worker children both in class and online simultaneously, this has truly warmed my heart.
In my humble (and admittedly biased) opinion, teachers and teaching assistants are one of the few front line staff that haven't really received any recognition.
On two separate occasions now she has come into direct contact with the virus and continued to teach online daily during the imposed Lockdown period, all with the stress of waiting to see if she herself would display any of the symptoms.
All with the 'nagging' background knowledge that 3 members of my and my husband's families have passed away from Covid complications since last October (2 of which were overseas).
She HAS received thank you messages from parents during online lessons, which she obviously loves and greatly appreciates.
However receiving something like this would not only make her day, but her week!
AS IT WOULD ANY MEMBER OF THE TEACHING PROFESSION!
To the company offering this service I say, "a big thank you, so very much, for this caring idea!"
Plus a personal thank you to #sunshinemum for sharing it.
What a lovely gesture, teachers are still working hard, either if it is remotely and online. Thank you for sharing.
