Ive been donating to shelter for years as I find it terrible that there is such a thing as homelessness in the UK in this day and age . Thankyou for sharing this as I would love to do more to help such a great charity .
Wow, this is amazing. I have a whole box of items I was waiting to donate and was going to throw out due to the wait
Perfect. I have a lot of things I want to donate but I’ve been able to get them that you’re in lockdown looks like it will be useful
I think it is a brilliant idea and given how the postage is also free and it's going to help someone who is in need makes the whole thing worthwhile. I received an email as I'm signed up to shelters newsletter so I wanted to share and get the word out there as not everyone receives the newsletter and may not be aware. Happy donating
In West Bromwich near to the bus station is a Shelter Charity Shop which because of the current situation with lockdown has had to close its doors so to be able to either post donations or take them to the nearest drop of point is a very good idea because nobody knows how long the lockdown will last. elauren43 bless your heart.
A great way to continue to donate to charity despite the current situation/shutdown. Nice clear instructions too. Thank you for sharing!
This is brilliant, especially as with most (if not all) charity shops atm you can’t drop off donations to the store, a great cause to support too
I've said for a long time it's a shame something like this wasn't available even before this whole coronavirus lockdown madness, I myself don't drive and getting things to the charity shops especially with a toddler in tow is a mission and a half, I do hope they continue to do this and others follow, my 13 year old sister recently introduced me to shopping in the charity shops (at Christmas) and within two of my local high street shops my Christmas shopping was done, everything I'd seen online for my little boy but didn't buy because it was so expensive for what it was I found for a fraction of the price I couldn't actually believe it, my sister got a pair of original dr martins for £10 I mean WOW .. shelter actually has a page of clothing they sell sometimes it's a case of luck but whilst in lockdown it's worth having a look on there, so glad I shared this now reading all the comments
